Pallet Support Bars

Pallet Support Bars are steel channels that sit perpendicular to the rack beams in a pallet racking system. Their purpose is to stop pallets from sagging, slipping, or falling through the rack, especially when pallet size or pallet condition makes them unstable on just two beams. They also help keep pallet placement accurate and safe in racks without panels ordecking.

Where are they Installed?

They are placed directly onto the beams, running perpendicular to the rack depth, positioned under the pallet legs to provide support.

  • Support bars in the exact quantity ordered.
  • All required hardware and fasteners (if any).
  • Warranty notice.
  • User manual.
  • Safety and inspection manual.

  • No PPE (gloves, goggles, etc.).
  • No tools (hammers, spanners, etc.).
  • No extra hardware beyond what’s needed.
  • No accessories shown in photos unless explicitly listed.
  • Support bars are NOT automatically supplied when ordering racks — they must be added manually.

1 person can install a bar which takes less than 5 minutes per bar. With experience, installation gets even faster.

  • Bars do NOT increase rack capacity; they only support the pallet. Never use damaged pallets — they’re unsafe on any support bar.
  • A lateral storage of some pallets is possible, but only with the help of Pallet Support Bars, or 4B Panels with Welded Panel Support Bars.
